Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, the Mount Holyoke Range State Park is located at 1500 West St, Amherst, MA 01002. From downtown Amherst, head west on Main St toward South Pleasant St. Turn left onto South Pleasant St, then take the first right onto West St. Continue on West St for approximately 2 miles, and the park entrance will be on your left. There is no entry fee for the park, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply in specific areas.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take the PVTA (Pioneer Valley Transit Authority) bus service. Board the bus route 30 from the Amherst Town Center. The bus will take you towards Hadley and drop you off at the nearest stop to the park. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach the park entrance. Make sure to check the PVTA schedule for the most updated route times and plan accordingly. A one-way ticket costs $1.50.

• Bicycle
