Walking
From the Hyannis Main Street area, head east on Main Street towards Ocean Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East Main Street. Turn left onto East Main Street and continue until you reach the end of the road. Once you reach the beach, walk along the shoreline until you can see the ferry terminal. From there, you can take a ferry to Vineyard Haven. After arriving at the Vineyard Haven ferry terminal, exit the terminal and turn left onto Beach Road. Follow Beach Road until you reach the intersection with East Chop Drive. Turn right onto East Chop Drive, and you will find the East Chop Lighthouse at 229 E Chop Dr.

Start at the Hyannis Transportation Center located at 215 Iyannough Rd. Take the Peter Pan bus towards Woods Hole. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Woods Hole ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Vineyard Haven. Upon arriving at Vineyard Haven, exit the terminal, turn left onto Beach Road, and follow it until it intersects with East Chop Drive. Turn right onto East Chop Drive and walk to 229 E Chop Dr to reach East Chop Lighthouse.
