Walking
If you are in downtown Lowell, start by heading south on Merrimack Street until you reach the intersection with Central Street. Turn left onto Central Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Dutton Street. Turn right onto Dutton Street and walk until you reach the Lowell Transit Center. Once at the Transit Center, take the MBTA bus route 350 towards Alewife and disembark at the Alewife station. From there, transfer to the subway and take the Red Line towards Ashmont, then switch to the Orange Line at Haymarket and take it towards North Station. Finally, get off at Haymarket Station and walk east on Congress Street, then turn south on Beacon Street to reach the Boston Common Carousel at 45 Beacon St, Boston, MA 02108.

Once you arrive at North Station, transfer to the Green Line (C or E train) and get off at Park Street Station. From Park Street, walk east on Park Street until you reach Beacon Street.
