Walking

From the center of Lowell, head south on Merrimack Street toward Central Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Dutton Street. Turn left onto Dutton Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Appleton Street. Turn right onto Appleton Street and follow it until you reach the Lowell Connector. Take the Lowell Connector to I-495 South and then merge onto I-93 South. After approximately 30 miles, take exit 20 toward Purchase Street. Continue on Purchase Street until you reach State Street, then turn left. Finally, turn right onto Rowes Wharf, and you will find Massachusetts Bay Lines at 60 Rowes Wharf, Boston, MA 02110.

Public Transit

From downtown Lowell, head to the nearest bus stop and take the LRTA bus #1 towards the Lowell Connector. Ride until you reach the 'Haverhill Street' stop. From there, transfer to the MBTA bus #67 toward Alewife Station. Ride this bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach Alewife. At Alewife Station, transfer to the Alewife subway line (Red Line) toward Ashmont. Ride until you reach Downtown Crossing Station. Transfer to the Orange Line towards North Station. Get off at Haymarket Station, and from there, it’s a short walk to Rowes Wharf. Head east on Congress Street, turn left onto State Street, and finally turn right onto Rowes Wharf, where you will find Massachusetts Bay Lines.
