Walking
If you're starting from the center of Lowell, head southeast on Merrimack Street toward Central Street. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Central Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Dutton Street. Turn right onto Dutton Street and walk for another 0.3 miles. Then, turn left onto Market Street and proceed until you reach the Lowell Connector. Walk along the connector until you reach the nearest bus stop that serves the Lowell to Cambridge route. Board the bus heading to Cambridge.

Public Transport
From the center of Lowell, walk to the nearest MBTA bus stop located on Merrimack Street. Board the MBTA bus 350 heading towards Alewife. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Alewife Station. Transfer to the Alewife subway line (Red Line) towards Ashmont/Braintree. Travel for about 30 minutes and disembark at Kendall/MIT Station. The MIT Museum is a short walk from the station. Exit the station and head east on Main Street for about 0.2 miles until you arrive at the museum located at 314 Main Street, Cambridge.
