    From Salem Station, walk south on Washington Street for about 0.5 miles. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Essex Street. Turn right onto Essex Street. Ropes Mansion and Garden will be on your left at 318 Essex St, just a short walk from the train station.

  • Bus

    From Haymarket Station, take the MBTA Bus 67 towards the Salem Depot. Ride the bus for about 45 minutes. When you get off at the Essex St & Washington St stop, walk west on Essex Street for a few minutes, and Ropes Mansion and Garden will be on your right at 318 Essex St.

  • Subway and Walking

    Take the Orange Line subway from any station in Boston towards Oak Grove. Get off at Haymarket Station. From there, transfer to the Commuter Rail at North Station. Follow the train instructions above to reach Salem. After arriving at Salem, refer to the walking directions.
