    Public Transit

    Start at the Lowell City Hall, located at 375 Merrimack St, Lowell, MA. From City Hall, walk to the Lowell Gallucci Transit Terminal, which is about a 10-minute walk. At the terminal, take the MBTA bus route 350 towards Alewife Station. Stay on the bus until you reach the Alewife Station. From there, transfer to the Alewife subway line and take the Red Line towards Ashmont. Get off at the South Station stop in Boston. Once at South Station, exit and walk to the nearby Long Wharf ferry terminal, which should take around 10 minutes. At Long Wharf, board the ferry to the Boston Harbor Islands. The ferry will take you directly to Little Brewster Island, where Boston Light is located.

    If you prefer a more scenic route, start at the Lowell City Hall and walk towards the Merrimack River. Follow the riverwalk to the Tsongas Center.
