If you are starting from the Lowell Visitor Center located at 246 Market Street, head east on Market Street for about 0.3 miles. Continue straight on Market Street until you reach the intersection with Pawtucket Boulevard. You will pass by several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Pawtucket Boulevard. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles, and you will see the entrance to the Pawtucket Canal Walk on your right.

From the Lowell City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop at 375 Merrimack Street. Take the LRTA bus number 7 towards the Chelmsford Center. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop on Market Street near the intersection with Pawtucket Boulevard. From there, walk east along Market Street, and you will find the entrance to the Pawtucket Canal Walk about 0.1 miles ahead on your right.
