To reach Nobadeer Beach in Nantucket, start by taking a ferry from Martha's Vineyard to Nantucket. You can catch the ferry from the Steamship Authority terminal located in Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance, as it may vary seasonally. Once on the ferry, enjoy the scenic ride which typically takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival at the Nantucket ferry terminal, you will be in the heart of Nantucket.

After arriving at the Nantucket ferry terminal, you can take the Nantucket Regional Transit Authority (NRTA) bus to Nobadeer Beach. Look for the Wave bus service that has a route specifically for the beach. The bus stop is conveniently located just outside the terminal. Board the bus and make sure to check the route map; you will want to take the 'Nobadeer Beach' line. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to Nobadeer Beach.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the Nantucket ferry terminal. Once you have your bike, head south on Broad Street, then take a left onto Main Street. Continue straight and follow the signs towards Surfside Road. From there, turn onto Nobadeer Avenue, which will lead you directly to the beach. The ride to Nobadeer Beach is approximately 3 miles and offers beautiful views along the way.

If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is pleasant, you can also walk to Nobadeer Beach from the Nantucket ferry terminal. Head south on Broad Street, then take a left onto Main Street. Continue along Main Street until you reach Surfside Road. From there, take a right and follow Surfside Road, which will lead you toward Nobadeer Avenue. The walk is about 3 miles and takes approximately 1 hour. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Nantucket as you make your way to the beach!
