Getting There

From the center of Nantucket, head south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Union Street. Turn left onto Union Street and continue until you reach the end of the road. At the junction, turn right onto Surfside Road. Follow Surfside Road for about 1.5 miles. Nobadeer Beach will be on your left. Look for the entrance to the beach which has signs to guide you.

Start from the Nantucket Town Center, located at the intersection of Main Street and Broad Street. Walk south on Main Street. Continue straight as it becomes South Beach Street. After about 0.5 miles, you’ll come to the intersection with Surfside Road. Turn left onto Surfside Road. Walk for approximately 1.5 miles, and you will see Nobadeer Beach on your left side, marked by a sign. Follow the path to the beach entrance.
