Walking from Vineyard Haven Ferry Terminal
Upon disembarking from the ferry at Vineyard Haven, head east on Main Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with East Chop Drive. Turn right onto East Chop Drive and follow it for about 0.6 miles. You'll see the East Chop Lighthouse on your left at 229 E Chop Dr. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
Biking from Oak Bluffs
If you're starting in Oak Bluffs, rent a bike and head north on Circuit Avenue towards Beach Road. Follow Beach Road until it intersects with East Chop Drive. Turn left onto East Chop Drive and continue for about 1.5 miles. The East Chop Lighthouse will be on your right at 229 E Chop Dr. Enjoy the ride along the waterfront!
Walking from Tisbury Marketplace
From the Tisbury Marketplace, exit onto State Road and walk towards the Vineyard Haven ferry terminal. Once you reach the terminal, follow the instructions for walking from Vineyard Haven Ferry Terminal to East Chop Lighthouse. This route will take approximately 25 minutes and features lovely views of the harbor.
Public Bus from Edgartown
Take the Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority (VTA) bus from Edgartown to Vineyard Haven. The bus will drop you off at the Vineyard Haven terminal. From there, follow the walking directions provided above. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes, so plan accordingly!
