    From any point within Mohawk Trail State Forest, head south on Route 2 (Mohawk Trail) until you reach the junction with Route 112 in Charlemont. Turn left onto Route 112 South. Continue on Route 112 for about 6 miles until you reach the intersection with Colrain Road. Turn right onto Colrain Road and follow it for approximately 3 miles. Catamount State Forest will be on your left, near the address Colrain, MA 01340. There is no entrance fee for the forest.
