Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from any point within Mohawk Trail State Forest, head towards Route 2 East. Follow Route 2 for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with Route 63. Take Route 63 South and continue for about 5 miles. Once you reach Turners Falls, look for Avenue A. Turn right onto Avenue A and the Great Falls Discovery Center will be on your left at 2 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA 01376. Parking is available nearby, but please check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus service from Greenfield to Turners Falls. The Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) operates a bus route that connects Greenfield to Turners Falls. Check the FRTA schedule for the bus times. Once you arrive at the Turners Falls bus stop, walk towards Avenue A. The Great Falls Discovery Center is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop, located at 2 Avenue A.   If you are staying in or around Turners Falls, walking to the Great Falls Discovery Center is a pleasant option. Simply navigate to Avenue A, and follow it to 2 Avenue A.
