Car
From Mohawk Trail State Forest, take MA-2 East. Continue on MA-2 for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 28 for I-91 South toward Hartford. Merge onto I-91 South and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 24 for Deerfield. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Conway Street (MA-5). Continue on Conway Street, then turn right onto Old Main Street. Historic Deerfield will be on your left at 80 Old Main St, Deerfield, MA 01342. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
From Mohawk Trail State Forest, you will need to drive or arrange for transportation to the nearest bus station, which is in Greenfield. Take the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) bus #34 from Greenfield to Deerfield. The bus will drop you off at a stop near Historic Deerfield. Please check the PVTA schedule for the latest timing and fares, which typically cost around $1.50 per ride. Walk approximately 0.5 miles down Old Main Street to reach Historic Deerfield at 80 Old Main St, Deerfield, MA 01342.
