Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car from anywhere within Mount Greylock State Reservation, first make your way to Route 2 (Mohawk Trail). From there, take the exit onto Route 7 South towards Pittsfield. Continue on Route 7 until you reach the junction with Route 9 in Hadley. Turn right onto Route 9 West. Drive approximately 5 miles, and then turn left onto Skinner State Park Road. Follow Skinner State Park Road for about half a mile until you reach the entrance to Skinner State Park, located at 10 Skinner State Park Rd, Hadley, MA 01035. Parking is available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus from North Adams or Williamstown to Amherst. From the Amherst bus station, you will need to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach Skinner State Park. The distance from the Amherst station to the park is about 6 miles, and it may cost approximately $15-$25 for the rideshare. Once you arrive at 10 Skinner State Park Rd, you will find the park entrance right off the road.
