If you are starting from the center of Barnstable, walk to Main Street and head east. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 28. Cross the street and continue straight until you reach the Barnstable Harbor area. From there, follow the signs for the ferry terminal, which is located at 1 Bismore Park, Hyannis. Take the ferry to Oak Bluffs. Once you arrive in Oak Bluffs, walk towards Seaview Avenue, and head southwest for about 0.5 miles. Inkwell Beach will be on your left at 83 Seaview Ave.

From the Hyannis Transportation Center, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service towards Oak Bluffs. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times.
