Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Hyannis, walk to the nearest Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus stop. Take the Route 1 bus towards Barnstable Village. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer to the Route 3 bus at the Barnstable Village stop. This bus will take you directly to Oak Bluffs. Once you arrive in Oak Bluffs, follow signs to Oak Bluffs Town Beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Hyannis. Start by heading east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Ocean Street. Turn left onto Ocean Street and continue until you reach the bike path that leads towards Oak Bluffs. Follow the bike path, which runs along the coast, for about 6 miles until you arrive at Oak Bluffs Town Beach. The beach will be on your right.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, you can walk to Oak Bluffs. Start at the Hyannis Harbor and head northwest on Ocean Street. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to Oak Bluffs. Once you disembark the ferry, follow the signs to Oak Bluffs Town Beach, which is a short walk from the dock.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to Oak Bluffs Town Beach from your current location in Hyannis. The drive should take about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic.
