    Getting There

    Bus

    From New Bedford, head to the nearest bus terminal at 134 Union Street. Take the Peter Pan Bus Lines headed towards Providence. The journey takes about 35-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Providence Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards the nearby bus stops.

    At the Providence Bus Terminal, locate the RIPTA (Rhode Island Public Transit Authority) bus stop. Take the #1 or #3 bus heading towards Elmhurst. You will need to stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Cunningham Square' stop, which is directly in front of Providence College.

    Walking

    If you are near downtown Providence after arriving, you can also walk to Providence College. Start at the intersection of Westminster Street and Dorrance Street, head north on Dorrance Street until you reach the intersection with North Main Street. Turn left onto North Main Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Eaton Street. Turn right onto Eaton Street, and you will arrive at Cunningham Square, home to Providence College.
