Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from downtown Newburyport, head southwest on State Street toward Merrimac Street. Continue onto High Street. After about 1 mile, turn right onto Newburyport Turnpike (Route 1). After about 2 miles, take a left onto Little's Lane. The Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm will be on your right at 5 Little’s Ln, Newbury, MA 01951. There is free parking available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take the MBTA Commuter Rail from Newburyport Station. Board the train heading toward Boston and get off at the Rowley station. From there, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service, which is approximately a 10-minute drive to Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm. Be aware that taxi fares may vary, so it's best to check the fare estimate before your trip.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can bike from Newburyport to Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm. Begin at the waterfront in Newburyport and follow the scenic route along the Merrimack River. Head southwest on State Street, then take High Street toward Newbury. This route is approximately 4 miles and offers a beautiful view of the area. Please wear a helmet and follow local traffic laws.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and are located in the nearby area, you can walk to Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm. From downtown Newburyport, it will be about a 1.5-hour walk. Start at State Street, head south on High Street, and follow the road as it turns into Newburyport Turnpike (Route 1). Then, take a left onto Little's Lane, which will lead you directly to the farm. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as parts of the route may have uneven terrain.
