Getting There

  • Car

    From Newburyport, MA, get onto MA-1A S from the downtown area. Follow MA-1A S for approximately 10 miles until you reach I-95 S. Merge onto I-95 S and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 30B to merge onto I-90 W toward Worcester. After about 12 miles, take exit 44 for MA-2 W toward Fitchburg. Continue on MA-2 W for about 15 miles and take exit 50 for MA-126 toward Lincoln. Follow MA-126 for a few miles until you see signs for Minute Man National Historical Park in Lincoln, MA. The park is located at 42.4543° N, 71.3014° W.

    From Newburyport, take the MBTA Commuter Rail from Newburyport station to North Station in Boston. The fare is approximately $10.00, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Boston, transfer to the Alewife station on the Red Line and take the subway towards Alewife. Get off at Alewife and catch the 62 or 67 bus towards Lincoln. The bus fare is around $2.00. The bus will take you directly to the Minute Man National Historical Park.
