If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto MA-128 N from your location in North Shore. Continue on MA-128 N for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 20 for MA-1A N toward Gloucester. Follow MA-1A N for about 5 miles, then turn right onto Maple Street. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Main Street. J.C. Phillips Nature Preserve will be on your left. There is no entry fee for the preserve, but ensure you have sufficient gas for your trip.

If you prefer public transportation, take the MBTA commuter rail from your nearest station to Wenham. Board the train heading towards Rockport and disembark at the Wenham station. From the Wenham station, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach J.C. Phillips Nature Preserve, which is approximately 2 miles away.
