If you are driving from downtown Newburyport, head south on State Street toward Merrimac Street. Continue on MA-1A S for about 6 miles. Turn left onto Refuge Road, and you will see the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Gatehouse on your right. Parking is available at the gatehouse.
