Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere in North Shore, Massachusetts, take US-1 N or MA-128 N. Follow the signs for I-95 N and merge onto I-95 N. Continue on I-95 N for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 50 for MA-107 S towards Salem. Continue on MA-107 S, which will lead you directly into Salem. Once in Salem, follow signs for downtown or the waterfront. Real Pirates Salem is located at Charlotte Forten Park, 285 Derby St #5. Look for parking in the nearby lots or on-street parking. Be aware that some parking may incur a fee, which typically ranges from $1 to $2 per hour.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  For those using public transportation, board the MBTA commuter rail from your nearest station. If you are in places like Lynn or Beverly, you can catch the train on the Newburyport/Rockport Line heading towards North Station in Boston. Get off at the Salem station. From the Salem station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Real Pirates Salem. Head south on Washington St, then take a left onto Derby St. Real Pirates Salem will be on your right at Charlotte Forten Park. Note that the train fare varies based on distance, typically around $5-$10 one way.
