Car
If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto MA-3 South or I-495 South, depending on your starting point in Plymouth County. Follow the signs for MA-28 South toward Mattapoisett. Continue on MA-28 South until you reach the junction with Route 105. Turn left onto Route 105 and follow it until you see signs for Ned's Point Road. Turn right onto Ned's Point Road, and the lighthouse will be on your left at 50 Ned's Point Rd, Mattapoisett, MA 02739. Note that there is free parking available near the lighthouse.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Commuter Rail from Boston or other nearby locations to the Wareham Village station. From Wareham, you can catch the CRTA (Coastal Regional Transit Authority) bus to Mattapoisett. Make sure to check the CRTA schedules beforehand as they may vary, and the bus ride can take up to an hour. Once in Mattapoisett, you can either walk or take a local taxi service to Ned's Point Road. The lighthouse is approximately 2 miles from the bus stop. Walking will take around 40 minutes, so be prepared with comfortable shoes.
