Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the center of Provincetown, at the intersection of Commercial Street and Standish Street. Head north on Standish Street until you reach Bradford Street. Turn left onto Bradford Street and continue walking until you reach Race Point Road. Turn right onto Race Point Road, and follow it for about 1.5 miles. The Province Lands Visitor's Center will be on your left at 171 Race Point Rd. Look for the large parking area and visitor center building.

    If you have a bicycle, you can take a scenic route. Start at the center of Provincetown and head north on Commercial Street. Follow it until it turns into Shank Painter Road. Continue on Shank Painter Road until you reach the intersection with Route 6. Turn left onto Route 6 and follow the bike lane toward Race Point. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Race Point Road. Look for the Province Lands Visitor's Center on your left at 171 Race Point Rd.
