Walking
Starting from the center of Provincetown at Commercial Street, head north towards the intersection with Bradford Street. Turn left onto Bradford Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 6. At this point, you may see a sign for Province Lands Road. Continue straight onto Route 6, and look for the entrance to the Cape Cod National Seashore on your left, which is Province Lands Road. Follow Province Lands Road until you see the signs for Hatches Harbor Trail, which is a short distance ahead. The trailhead is located on your right side, just past the intersection with Race Point Road.
Biking
If you have rented a bike in Provincetown, start at the intersection of Commercial Street and Bradford Street. Head north on Bradford Street, then turn left onto Route 6. Follow Route 6 until you reach Province Lands Road. Turn left onto Province Lands Road and continue riding until you reach the Hatches Harbor Trailhead, which will be on your right. The path is well-marked, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.
Public Transportation
From the center of Provincetown, check the local bus schedule for the Ptown Shuttle or other available services heading towards the Cape Cod National Seashore. Get off at the stop that is closest to Province Lands Road. From there, follow Province Lands Road on foot, keeping an eye out for the Hatches Harbor Trailhead, which is located on your right side after a short walk.
