Getting There

Walking
From the center of Provincetown, head northwest on Commercial Street. Continue walking along Commercial Street until you reach the intersection with Bradford Street. Turn left onto Bradford Street and follow it as it curves into Route 6. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will see the entrance to the Race Point Beach parking area on your right. Note that this is a public beach, and you can access it without a vehicle. Upon reaching the beach, follow the sandy path that leads toward the ocean. The Race Point Lighthouse is located about a mile down the beach, so keep walking straight until you see the lighthouse.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Provincetown. Start by heading northwest on Commercial Street, then turn left onto Bradford Street. Continue straight until you reach Route 6, where you will turn left. Follow Route 6 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Race Point Beach on your right. Park your bike at the designated area and follow the sandy path leading to the beach. Continue walking straight along the beach for about a mile until you reach Race Point Lighthouse.

Take the 'Dune Tour' shuttle service from Provincetown, which operates during the tourist season. Board the shuttle at the designated stop in the town center. Inform the driver that you want to go to Race Point Lighthouse. The shuttle will take you directly to the Race Point Beach parking area.
