To reach Georges Island from Quincy, head to the Quincy Bay. Start by walking towards the Quincy Center MBTA Station. From there, take the Red Line Train towards Ashmont. Get off at the North Quincy Station. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the North Quincy MBTA bus terminal. Look for the bus route that goes to the Boston Ferry Terminal. Board the bus and once you arrive at the Boston Ferry Terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Georges Island. The ferry operates regularly, so check the schedule upon arrival. The ride to Georges Island offers beautiful views of the Boston skyline and takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
