Getting There

Car
From downtown Salem, head south on Washington Street toward the intersection with Derby Street. Turn left onto Derby Street, then take a right onto the MA-114 W ramp. Merge onto MA-114 W and continue for about 1.5 miles. Then, merge onto I-95 S toward Boston. After about 15 miles, take exit 29B for MA-2 W toward Concord. Continue on MA-2 W for approximately 12 miles until you reach the exit for Concord. Keep left at the fork to continue on MA-2 W, following signs for Concord. Once in Concord, take a right onto Lexington Road. The Wayside will be on your left at 455 Lexington Rd.

Public Transportation
From Salem, walk to the Salem MBTA station. Take the commuter rail on the Newburyport/Rockport line toward North Station. Get off at the Alewife station. From there, transfer to the Alewife bus (bus number 67) heading towards Concord. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop for Lexington Road. The Wayside Home of Authors will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at 455 Lexington Rd.
