Walking
From downtown New Bedford, head towards the New Bedford Whaling Museum located at 18 Johnny Cake Hill. Exit the museum and head northeast on Johnny Cake Hill towards Union Street. Turn right onto Union Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 18. Cross Route 18 and continue onto Pleasant Street. Follow Pleasant Street until you reach the bus stop for the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus service. Take the RIPTA Route 60 bus towards Newport and get off at the stop near the Newport Visitor Center. From there, walk east on America's Cup Avenue, then turn left onto Touro Street. Queen Anne Square will be on your right.

Public Transit
Start at the New Bedford bus terminal located at 134 Elm Street. Board the Peter Pan Bus Lines or the Greyhound bus service to Newport, Rhode Island. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Newport bus terminal, exit and head east towards America’s Cup Avenue. Walk along America's Cup Avenue until you reach Touro Street, then turn left. Queen Anne Square will be on your right at 51 Touro St.

Bicycling
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations in New Bedford. Start at the New Bedford Whaling Museum and head towards the South Terminal and the bike path along the waterfront. Follow the bike path towards the north until you reach the bridge leading to Aquidneck Island. Cross the bridge and continue onto Route 138. Follow the signs for Newport and then take Touro Street to reach Queen Anne Square.
