    If you are driving, start by getting on I-93 N from your location in South Shore. Follow I-93 N for approximately 8 miles. Take exit 15 for Melnea Cass Blvd toward Massachusetts 28 S. Continue on Melnea Cass Blvd and follow signs for Massachusetts 28 S/Washington St. Merge onto Washington St. Continue on Washington St for about 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Walk Hill St. The Boston Nature Center will be on your left at 500 Walk Hill St, Mattapan, MA 02126.

    If you prefer public transportation, head to your nearest MBTA station. Take the commuter rail from South Shore towards Boston. Transfer to the Orange Line at North Station and take it towards Forest Hills. Get off at the Forest Hills Station and transfer to the #32 bus towards Mattapan Station. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop for Walk Hill St. The Boston Nature Center will be a short walk from the bus stop.
