  • Walking

    From the Lowell Visitor Center located at 246 Market St, head south on Market St towards Central St. Turn right onto Central St and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the Merrimack River. Follow the river's edge until you reach the Tsongas Center. Cross the bridge over the river to continue on to the city of Lawrence. From there, you can take the MBTA train from the Lowell Station (located at 100 Thorndike St) towards Boston. Get off at North Station in Boston. Once you arrive at North Station, exit onto Causeway St, and walk towards the Haymarket area. Continue on to Cambridge St, where you will find Old West Church at 131 Cambridge St, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station.

  • Public Transit (Bus and Train)

    From the Lowell City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop at Merrimack St & John St. Take the Lowell Transit bus #1 towards the Gallagher Terminal and get off at the Gallagher Terminal. Transfer to the MBTA Commuter Rail on the Lowell Line towards Boston. Get off at North Station. From North Station, exit onto Causeway St and head towards the Haymarket area. Walk to Cambridge St, and you will find Old West Church at 131 Cambridge St, which is just a short 10-minute walk from the station.
