If you're driving, start from downtown Salem, MA. Head south on Washington Street toward Derby Street. Continue on Derby Street for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Fort Avenue. Turn left onto Fort Avenue. Follow Fort Avenue as it curves around, and you'll see the entrance to Winter Island Park on your left. There is parking available within the park, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee.

To reach Winter Island via public transportation, take the MBTA commuter rail from Boston to Salem. Once you arrive at Salem Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located on Washington Street. Board the MBTA bus route 450 towards Beverly.
