  • Public Bus

    If you're in Waltham, head to the nearest bus stop and take the MBTA #70 or #70A bus towards Alewife Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 25-30 minutes. Get off at the Alewife Station and transfer to the Alewife subway station. From there, take the Red Line train towards Ashmont/Braintree. After about 20 minutes, transfer at Park Street station to the Green Line. Take the Green Line towards Copley and get off at Government Center station. Faneuil Hall Marketplace is a short 5-minute walk from the station.

    From Waltham, walk to the nearest Commuter Rail station, Waltham Station. Board a train on the Fitchburg Line towards North Station. The ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at North Station, exit the station and walk towards the Haymarket area. Faneuil Hall Marketplace is about a 10-minute walk from North Station. Just head southeast along Canal Street which will turn into Blackstone Street, and you'll arrive at the marketplace.

Continue straight until you reach the Charles River bike path. Follow the path along the river towards Boston. After about 6 miles, you will reach the area near Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Park your bike at any designated bike rack near the Marketplace.

    If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the center of Waltham. Head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Moody Street. Continue straight on Moody Street until you reach the Charles River. Walk along the river path towards Boston, which will take you about 2 hours. Once you get to the end of the path, head towards Government Center, and Faneuil Hall Marketplace will be just a few minutes away from there.
