From Waltham, head to the nearest bus stop at Main St @ Maple St. Take the #70 or #70A MBTA bus towards Alewife. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at Alewife Station and transfer to the Alewife subway station (Red Line). Board the train towards Ashmont/Braintree. After about 15 minutes, get off at Kendall/MIT Station. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the MIT Museum located at 314 Main St, Cambridge, MA 02142.
