Walking
From the center of Waltham, head south on Main Street toward Moody Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the Waltham MBTA train station. Take the Commuter Rail train towards South Station in Boston. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at South Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Red Line subway. Take the Red Line train towards Alewife and get off at the Park Street station. At Park Street, transfer to the Green Line and take any train toward Government Center. Get off at Haymarket station. From Haymarket, walk northeast on Blackstone Street and turn left onto Hanover Street. Continue walking until you reach Salem Street, then turn right. The Old North Church will be on your left at 193 Salem St.
Public Transport
Start at the Waltham MBTA train station. Board a Commuter Rail train heading towards South Station. After about 30 minutes, you'll arrive at South Station. From there, take the Red Line subway towards Alewife. Get off at the Park Street station and transfer to the Green Line. Take any Green Line train towards Government Center and get off at the Haymarket stop. Once you exit the station, walk northeast on Blackstone Street, turn left onto Hanover Street, and then take a right onto Salem Street. The Old North Church is located at 193 Salem St, just a short walk from there.
