Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Flic en Flac and want to reach Grand Baie, start by heading northeast along the coastal road (B9) toward Quatre Bornes. Continue straight for about 12 kilometers until you reach the junction at the small town of Cap Malheureux. At this junction, turn left onto the A1 highway. Follow the A1 for approximately 4 kilometers. You will see signs for Grand Baie. Keep walking straight until you reach Grand Baie, where you can enjoy the beautiful beach and vibrant atmosphere.

• Public Bus

  To get to Grand Baie from Flic en Flac using public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the coastal road. Look for the bus heading towards Port Louis, which will have 'Grand Baie' indicated on the front. Board the bus, and it will take you along the coastal route. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Grand Baie bus terminal, you can easily walk to the beach and nearby attractions.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Flic en Flac. Start by heading northeast on the coastal road (B9). Cycle along the scenic route for about 12 kilometers until you reach the junction at Cap Malheureux. Turn left onto the A1 highway and continue for another 4 kilometers. You will reach Grand Baie, where you can park your bicycle and explore the area.
