If you are staying in the Centro area of San Cristóbal de las Casas, you can easily walk to Catedral de San Cristóbal de las Casas. From the main square (Plaza de la Paz), head northeast on Calle 16 de Septiembre for about 3 blocks. Turn left onto Calle Allende and continue for one block until you reach Plaza 31 de Marzo. The cathedral will be on your right-hand side.

Head to the nearest colectivo station, which is usually located near the main plaza or market. Look for a colectivo heading to 'Centro' or 'Catedral'. The fare is generally around 10-15 pesos.
