From the center of Cozumel, head east towards the waterfront along Avenida Rafael E. Melgar. Continue along the coast until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Playa del Carmen, which typically takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Playa del Carmen, find a local bus terminal. Look for ADO buses heading to Tulum; the journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arriving in Tulum, disembark at the main bus station. From there, you can take a taxi or a colectivo (shared van) directly to Cenote Yax-kin, located along the Carr. Cancún - Tulum road.
