Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From the central area of Cozumel, head towards Avenida 5 Sur and follow it south until you reach the waterfront. Once at the waterfront, turn right onto the coastal road and continue until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Playa del Carmen, and upon arrival, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Cycle along Carretera Federal 307 heading south towards Puerto Aventura. Follow the signs for Chikin Ha, which will be on your left side after approximately 30 minutes of cycling.

  • Public Bus

    Start at the main square in Cozumel (Plaza Central) and walk to the nearby bus terminal. Board a bus heading to Playa del Carmen. Once you arrive in Playa del Carmen, transfer to a bus heading towards Tulum or a similar route that stops near Puerto Aventura. Inform the driver you want to stop at Chikin Ha, and they will let you know when to get off. The park is a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Taxi

    From your location in Cozumel, find a local taxi stand or flag down a taxi. Tell the driver you want to go to Chikin Ha, located at Carretera Federal 307 Cancún Chetumal Km. 265. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the park, which is approximately a 30-minute drive. Ensure you agree on a fare before starting your journey.
