Taxi
If you are in the central area of Cozumel, head to the main taxi stand located near the Plaza del Sol. Once there, tell the taxi driver you want to go to Río Secreto in Playa del Carmen. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance of Río Secreto, located on Carretera Federal Libre Chetumal - Puerto Juárez Km 283.5.
Public Bus
From the main square in Cozumel, walk to the bus terminal located on Avenida 5 between Calle 11 and Calle 12. Look for a bus heading to Playa del Carmen, which will cost around 30 pesos. The bus ride will take about 45-60 minutes. Once you arrive in Playa del Carmen, get off at the ADO bus terminal. From there, you can take a taxi to Río Secreto, which is approximately a 5-minute ride.
Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Cozumel. Cycle towards the ferry terminal and take the ferry to Playa del Carmen. Once you arrive, you can bike about 15 minutes down the Carretera Federal Libre Chetumal - Puerto Juárez until you reach Río Secreto. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated during your ride!
