Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Guadalajara Cathedral, head west on Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach Avenida Juárez. Turn left onto Avenida Juárez and keep walking for approximately 1 km. You will pass the Teatro Degollado on your right. Once you reach the intersection with Calle 8, turn right onto Calle 8 and continue straight for about 500 meters until you see the Monumento de la Bandera on your left side.

    From the main bus terminal (Central de Autobuses), take bus number 631 or 634 towards Obrera. The bus will take you directly to the Obrera neighborhood. Get off at the stop nearest to Avenida 8 de Julio. From there, walk west for about 5 minutes until you reach the Monumento de la Bandera.
