Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Jardín de la Unión, head northeast towards the Calle 5 de Febrero. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Paz. Turn right onto Calle de la Paz and walk until you reach the Plaza de la Paz. From there, continue straight until you see the entrance to the Town Square on Baratillo Street, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

    If you are at the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, exit the building and head south towards Calle del Cuarenta. Follow this street as it curves left and becomes Calle San Francisco. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Plaza de la Paz. Turn left onto Plaza de la Paz and continue until you reach the entrance to Town Square on Baratillo Street, which should take about 15 minutes.

    From the University of Guanajuato, exit the main entrance and head down the steep Calle de las Trompas. At the bottom, take a right onto Calle de la Paz. Walk straight until you reach the Plaza de la Paz. Turn left and walk towards Baratillo Street, where you will find the Town Square. This route will take around 20 minutes.

    If you are near the Mercado Hidalgo, exit the market and turn left onto Avenida Juárez. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle 5 de Febrero. Turn right and walk straight until you reach Plaza de la Paz. Finally, turn left onto Baratillo Street to arrive at Town Square in approximately 15 minutes.
