Car
If you're driving from the Gulf Coast region, head towards La Paz. From La Paz, take Highway 1 northbound towards Ciudad Constitución. After about 195 kilometers, you'll reach the town of Ciudad Constitución. From there, take the Highway 1D towards San Ignacio. Continue for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the town of San Ignacio. Once in San Ignacio, follow the signs for San Ignacio Lagoon, which is about 50 kilometers from the town center. The road to the lagoon may be unpaved, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended. Expect to pay for gas along the way, and possibly a small toll fee on Highway 1D.
