Collectivo
From central Playa del Carmen, head to the main collectivo station located on 2nd Street between 15th and 20th Avenue. Look for collectivo vans heading towards Tulum. The fare is usually around 40 pesos. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Aktun Chen, which is located on the highway at kilometer 107. Once you arrive, you will need to walk a short distance to the entrance of Aktun Chen.

You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Playa del Carmen. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Aktun Chen, located at Carr. Cancún - Tulum Km 107. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and the fare should be around 300-400 pesos. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Playa del Carmen. Head south on the main road, Avenida 30, until you reach Carretera Cancún-Tulum. Turn left and follow the road for about 10 kilometers.
