Getting There

Walking
If you are staying in central Playa del Carmen, start by heading south on Avenida 5. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Carretera Federal Playa del Carmen-Tulum. Turn right onto Carretera Federal, and walk for approximately 30 minutes. You will pass by various shops and restaurants. Keep walking straight until you reach km 2.5, where Aventuras Mayas is located on your left.

Public Transportation
From the central bus station, take a colectivo (shared van) heading towards Tulum. The fare is usually around 30 pesos. Inform the driver that you want to get off at km 2.5. The colectivo will drop you off close to Aventuras Mayas. Once you get off, walk back a bit towards the direction you came from, and you will find Aventuras Mayas on your right.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Playa del Carmen. Head south on Avenida 5 until you reach the Carretera Federal. Turn right onto the highway and cycle for about 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for Aventuras Mayas on your left at km 2.5. There are usually bike racks to park your bicycle near the entrance.
