Collectivo
From the center of Playa del Carmen, head to Avenida 10 Norte where you'll find the collectivo stand. Look for a white minivan with a 'Tulum' sign. Board the collectivo, which will take you towards Tulum. Inform the driver that you're going to Cenote Azul, and they will drop you off at the entrance. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes.
Taxi
You can easily find a taxi in Playa del Carmen. Just flag down a taxi on the street or ask your hotel to call one for you. Tell the driver to take you to Cenote Azul, located on Carr. Cancún - Tulum Km 266. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Playa del Carmen. Head south on Avenida 5 until you reach the intersection with Carr. Cancún - Tulum. Turn left and continue cycling for about 15 kilometers. Follow the signs for Cenote Azul, and you'll arrive in about 1-1.5 hours. Make sure to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated!
