Walking
If you're staying in the central area of Playa del Carmen, head towards Calle Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue). This is a pedestrian-friendly street filled with shops and restaurants. Walk towards the south until you reach the intersection with Calle 6. Continue walking until you reach Calle 8. The Gastón Charó Gallery is located at Calle Quinta Avenida 173, between Calle 6 and Calle 8, right at Jardín de Marieta. Look for the gallery's signage to enter.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental shops along 5th Avenue. Start by cycling south on 5th Avenue. Keep an eye out for Calle 6 and Calle 8. The Gastón Charó Gallery is located at Calle Quinta Avenida 173, between these two cross streets. You can park your bike at nearby bike racks or outside the gallery.
Taxi
To take a taxi, find a taxi stand or hail one on the street. Inform the driver that you want to go to Gastón Charó Gallery on Calle Quinta Avenida 173, between Calle 6 and Calle 8. The taxi will drop you off right in front of the gallery. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting in, as taxis in Playa del Carmen do not have meters.
Public Transportation (Colectivo)
If you are coming from the outskirts of Playa del Carmen, you can take a colectivo (shared van). Find a colectivo that is headed towards Playa del Carmen Centro. Once you arrive in the central area, ask the driver to drop you off near Calle Quinta Avenida. From there, walk towards Calle 6. The Gastón Charó Gallery is at Calle Quinta Avenida 173, right by Jardín de Marieta.
