To reach Playa El Cielo from Playa del Carmen, start by heading to the main ferry terminal located on the waterfront at Calle 1 Norte. Once you arrive at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Cozumel. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes, and you will arrive at San Miguel de Cozumel. From the ferry terminal, exit and look for a taxi or a local bus. If taking a taxi, inform the driver you want to go to Playa El Cielo, which is about a 20-minute drive from the terminal. If you prefer public transport, catch a bus heading south on Avenida 5, and get off at the Playa El Cielo stop.

After arriving in Cozumel via ferry, you can take a taxi directly to Playa El Cielo. The taxi stand is right outside the ferry terminal. Taxis in Cozumel are safe and reliable. Simply tell the driver your destination: 'Playa El Cielo', and the ride will take around 20 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand to avoid any surprises.

For the more adventurous, you can rent a bike in San Miguel de Cozumel. Look for bike rental shops near the ferry terminal.
