Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Playa del Carmen, begin by heading towards the main street, Avenida Constituyentes. Walk towards the east until you reach the beach. Once you arrive at the beach, turn south and walk along the coastline. Continue walking for about 30 minutes, enjoying the beautiful views. You'll reach the area of Riviera Maya, known for its stunning beaches and resorts.

  • Public Transport

    From the central Playa del Carmen area, find the nearest collectivo (shared van) terminal, typically located on Avenida 5. Board a collectivo heading towards Tulum or Akumal. Inform the driver that you want to go to Riviera Maya. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, and you will be dropped off at a point near the beaches and resorts of the Riviera Maya. From there, you can walk to your desired location along the coast.

  • Bicycle Rental

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Playa del Carmen. Start your ride from the central plaza and head south on Avenida 5. Continue riding until you reach the beach, then turn left (east) onto the beach promenade. Follow the promenade south for about 5 kilometers. You'll enjoy the scenic views of the Caribbean Sea and eventually arrive at the Riviera Maya area, where you can explore the beaches or resorts.
